Dialtown is a dating sim where most people have phones for heads. Women have typewriters. Also, dogs have gramophones for heads. Aaaand, cats have keyboards. The list goes on. Yeah, I’m being serious right now. No, put that straitjacket away.

The game’s a visual novel where you wander around the town of Dialtown, seeking romance, all because you want someone to pay you into a funfair, all so you can find a dank pit in which to lay your eggs. Yeah.

There’s several dateable protagonists, from Karen, a bored bank-teller printer who’s extremely dissatisfied with her life and just wants to feel things again, to Randy, who juggles working as an operator for a local phone sex hotline and working as a bird-wrangler for animal-control.

Document control
Every visitor must have a set of valid documents. Even the slightest discrepancy means refusal of entry. Over time, the number of documents will increase and errors will be more difficult to detect.

Smuggling detection
Our intelligence regularly provides information about suspicious drivers. Search their vehicles using a UV flashlight and then use the appropriate tools to extract the smuggled goods. No amount of contraband should cross the border!

Shootouts
In some situations you will be forced to use firearms. Your station is a constant target for Oberankov’s gang attacks, and every away mission carries the risk of a clash with the enemy.

Police chases
Desperate smugglers may attempt to escape from the control zone. It is your duty to stop and arrest them! Buy and upgrade police cars to improve the effectiveness of your pursuit.

Post management
Upgrade your police station to increase its defenses and improve subsequent inspections. However, keep in mind the rising cost of maintaining your station. Successful inspections, foiled smuggling and successful interventions are a few ways to earn cash.

Special assignments
Always be ready to intervene in an emergency. Solve crime puzzles, support your comrades and thwart the Blood Fist rebels. Make decisions that will determine the future of Acaristan.

If you’re not careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you’ll end up in the Backrooms. The old moist carpet, the mono-yellow rooms and the hum-buzz of the fluorescent lights will be your only comfort in the endless purgatory you have found yourself in. Don’t bother crying out for help. Nobody is coming. Nobody is left.

The Backrooms: Mass Extinction is a game created by Mitchell Hepburn using Unreal Engine 5. The game is in development and will receive updates with new content, fixes and improvements. The Beta version of the game released recently. In the current build, you can:

Night Slashers, a classic arcade game originally developed by DATA EAST in 1993, still stands as one of the best titles in the beat ’em up genre to this day! Play through 50+ missions and high-score challenges using a huge variety of vehicles. Each mission has its own distinct vehicle custom-made to maximize the fun, and all are playable with either a keyboard or gamepad (some specific vehicles also support optional mouse aiming). Vehicles include a flying bulldozer, a tank with quad rocket launchers, an ornithopter with a grappling hook that tears a building down piece by piece, and many more. Join Sharpe Industries as a vehicle test pilot and journey across the world to remote islands and outposts where everything needs to be destroyed.

Instruments of Destruction also includes a powerful vehicle editor and an epilogue campaign that teaches you the ins and outs of building your own vehicle. The epilogue campaign features over 25 missions (and challenges) where you’re in charge of creating a vehicle that can complete the given objectives. The missions gradually introduce you to vehicle building, but you can always load any previously unlocked or saved vehicle if you just want to jump in a blow stuff up.

Finally, there’s a Sandbox mode where there are no limits or objectives. You can load any unlocked map and vehicle (or build your own) and get immersed in the physics and destruction with no pressure or objectives. Between Sandbox mode, the 3-star scoring system, the massive lineup of included vehicles, the powerful vehicle editor, and the thousands of vehicles on the Steam Workshop, you’ll never run out of ways to enjoy Instruments of Destruction.
