Game Description

In KSP you must build a space-worthy craft, capable of flying its crew out into space without killing them. At your disposal is a collection of parts, which must be assembled to create a functional ship. Each part has its own function and will affect the way a ship flies (or doesn’t). So strap yourself in, and get ready to try some Rocket Science!

The game offers three gameplay modes: Sandbox, in which you are free to build anything you can think of; Science Mode, which lets you perform Scientific experiments to advance the knowledge of Kerbalkind and further the available technology; and Career Mode, in which you must manage every aspect of your Space Program, including administration strategies, Crew Management, Reputation, as well as taking up Contracts to earn Funds and upgrade your Space Center Facilities (or repair them).

PS for those, who asks why there is no lossy option in this repack, like in NieR Automata:

SFD video format, used in this game is so f*cking outdated, that no tools can properly encode/mux videos in 1080p. SFD movies first appear in 1998, almost 20 years ago. And when encoded in 720p, those videos shows NOT IN THE FULL screen, taking around 3/4 of the available space, even if you run in 720p.

And some of the largest movies simply can’t be muxed due to available tools limitations, for them even 720p with low bitrate is too much. And 8 MBps for 720p I used in my test was the lowest I could go, cause everything below was way too blocky.

Game Description

From the Art Director of God of War 3, The Fidelio Incident is a single-player, first-person thriller set off the coast of Iceland. After a violent plane crash, Stanley must search a desolate frozen island in search of his wife Leonore while covering up any traces of their identity. Rescue help is on the way, the past must remain hidden. “They can’t find out who we are!”

Inspirations include Dear Esther, Gone Home and Firewatch as well as dark character dramas like as Homeland, Lost, and The Americans.

The Fidelio Incident was also inspired by Beethoven’s only opera, Fidelio. We use the opera’s premise as inspiration for the backstory, then re-imagined it for a modern setting.

Michael Krikorian’s score composes over 40 minutes of original music. He incorporates themes from Fidelio’s overture and transforms them to fit the mood and atmosphere of the game. The score expands the emotional depth of the narrative while complementing the atmosphere of the island.

Stanley is played by Glenn Keogh, known for his roles in Transformers Age of Extinction, Once Upon A Time, and Sons of Anarchy. Glenn was born in Ireland. After reading the script, he signed on with the goal of bringing authenticity to Stanley’s character. We think he did a great job, and hope you agree!

Leonore is played by Bess Harrison, whose credits include The Temple and Memory, for Amazon Studios. Bess is described by Glenn as having a sweetheart voice you can’t help but fall in love with.

Backwards Compatibility
This repack is somewhat backwards compatible with my original NieR Automata repack. setup-fitgirl-03.bin, setup-fitgirl-selective-lossy-videos.bin and setup.exe has been updated, so you can rehash an old torrent with the new one.

Game Description
NieR: Automata tells the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2 and their battle to reclaim the machine-driven dystopia overrun by powerful machines.

Humanity has been driven from the Earth by mechanical beings from another world. In a final effort to take back the planet, the human resistance sends a force of android soldiers to destroy the invaders. Now, a war between machines and androids rages on… A war that could soon unveil a long-forgotten truth of the world.

Lossy VS Lossless

I don’t like lossy compression, but this game proves, that sometimes developers have to use brains.

Most game videos in NieR are in 1600×904 resolution, not even proper FullHD. And developers used extremely high bitrate for them, up to 40 MBbit/second with 30 FPS.

And I must add, that cutscenes (pre-rendered by game engine into movie files) take more than 50% of game files, occupying 26.8 GB.

That’s why I made an option for you to download much smaller archive with re-encoded videos.

They still look pretty good at bitrate of 5~6 MBit/sec. You can download this sample and compare:

If you don’t like the quality of re-encoded files, get original ones. Remember – the choice is always yours, not mine 😉

Selective Download

You can skip downloading of files you don’t need. Here is the list of selective files:

  • setup-fitgirl-selective-english-speech.bin (English voiceovers)
  • setup-fitgirl-selective-japanese-speech.bin (Japanese voiceovers – make sure you have installed the pack before switching to Japanese in game settings)

  • setup-fitgirl-selective-lossy-videos.bin (Re-encoded videos, 1600×904, ~5-6 Mbps)

In example, if you want to launch the game with English UI/Subtitles/Voiceovers and re-encoded videos – skip all “selective” files,
but download setup-fitgirl-selective-lossy-videos.bin, setup-fitgirl-selective-english-speech.bin & all main files (01-04).
