The Enhanced Graphics Pack increases Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition to ultra-high fidelity resolution. Before you attempt to install, please make sure that your system requirements meet or exceed the minimum specs for this content: 2.4 Ghz i5 or greater or AMD equivalent, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia® GTX 650 / AMD HD 5850 or better

Selective Download

You can skip downloading of Enhanced Graphics Pack and voiceover files or you don’t need. Here is the list of selective/optional files:

  • fg-optional-hd-pack.bin + fg-optional-hd-pack-2.bin (Download only if you have an Ultra HD display, otherwise it’s pretty useless)
  • fg-selective-english.bin (REQUIRED for all languages withour their own voiceovers)
  • fg-selective-all-non-english.bin (REQUIRED for all languages but English)
  • fg-selective-chinese.bin
  • fg-selective-french.bin
  • fg-selective-german.bin
  • fg-selective-italian.bin
  • fg-selective-korean.bin
  • fg-selective-brazilian.bin
  • fg-selective-spanish.bin
  • fg-selective-mexican.bin

In example, if you want to launch the game w/p EGP and with Spanish UI/Subtitles/Voiceovers – skip all “selective/optional” files, but download fg-selective-all-non-english.bin, fg-selective-spanish.bin & all main files (01-11).

Backwards Compatibility

This repack IS slightly backwards compatible with previous AoE2DE repack. You can rehash fg-selective-all-non-english.bin to save 497 MB of traffic.
